Design process

As a firm believer in process driven work, I take inputs from clients, peers, research and analysis before beginning to model a solution.

The crucial element of my process is refining the brief with the client. This allows everyone in the relationship to know what expectations are being set out.

Process takes the guess work out of design. Process puts the client’s needs and the audience’s reaction at the heart of the creative. It’s the road map that allows all stakeholders to understand the journey from ideation to execution.

Communication

Adept interpersonal skills at all levels of stakeholder involvement from interrogating client briefs to collaborating with colleagues and managing stakeholder expectations.

Working as a creative lead I have, and continue to report to company directors on all aspects of their brand development as well as the implementation of multiple project concepts, from product asset & campaign development to exhibition stand design.

Creative mentor

As well as providing creative direction and career guidance to my own peers, I offer mentorship to young people wishing to enter the creative industry via the Local Village Network.

Since 2020 I have been supporting the work of the Local Village Network by providing mentorship to young people either online in 1-2-1 sessions or in person in the classroom.

The Local Village Network is set up to help connect young people to industry practitioners via the ‘Power of an hour’ campaign.

By offering 1 hour sessions, the LVN help young people understand the importance of networking when furthering a career choice.
